Update on Aiden

On Friday I took Aiden in to have 2 x-rays done of his neck. We were told that we would have the results that afternoon and to expect a call from the doctor. Well, after a long afternoon of waiting, we never received a call! Of course I begin to get worried but tried to think positive thoughts. First thing Monday morning I called the doctor to ask about the results of the x-rays. I was told that they never received them and needed to track them down. I waited by the phone all day long and jumped every time it rang. I even tried calling back around 3:30 to see if anything had been found, but my call went unanswered. Well, when 5:00 rolled around I knew I would have to wait until Tuesday. Before I even had a chance to call this morning, Dr. Nix called with the results. We are so blessed to say that Aiden's bone structure in his neck is perfectly normal! What a relief! He has been diagnosed with Torticollis. Now that we have a diagnosis, we can start our physical therapy. I need to call and get this scheduled and once we get in, we will have a better idea of what to expect in terms of how long this will be needed. The possibility of a helmet is still out there, so please pray that the therapy will be enough. Thank you for all of your thoughts, prayers and support for our family during these last few days.
