The Best Big Sister EVER!

Yesterday Emily won the 'Best Big Sister' award! OK, maybe I am a little biased but she was SO stinkin' cute! She found one of Aiden's bottles and decided to try and feed him! The bottle was pretty much empty, but neither of the kids cared. Emily would put the bottle in his mouth and hold it for him. Aiden LOVED the attention from his sister as he was grinning from ear to ear! Here are some of the pictures I was able to capture of this absolutely precious moment.

Happy St. Patty's Day!

Here are some pictures of the kids in their St. Patrick's Day outfits. Aiden's shirt was a "wee" bit snug but he humored me and wore it anyway. :)

Emily's Haircut

Emily had to have another hair cut this week because her bangs were constantly in her eyes. Even though this was her third hair cut, we have never cut off this much before. We took her to a children's hair studio where she was able to drive a fire truck and watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse while the lady styled away! Let's just say Emily was in heaven! She was very still and cooperative, unless, of course, the lady blocked the television!

Cousin Fun

Today we went to the Children's Museum with Aunt Kelli, Uncle Randy and Abigail. Emily loves going to the museum because she is allowed to run and play with so many different things without getting in trouble. She showed Abi her favorite places like the lego table and the digging pit. Daddy and Uncle Randy had just as much fun playing as the kids did... possibly more! Before we left, Jon and I decided to get a year membership so we can come back more often. I think as the year goes on, Mr. Aiden will enjoy our visits a little more, too.

Old Macdonald's Farm

Today Aunt Jennifer and I took the kids to Old Macdonald's Farm in Humble to play. There were so many animals to pet and feed, a horse to ride (but Emily was scared of it), lots of play equipment, and LOTS of open areas for Emmy to roam. Aiden didn't care too much about the animals - he was just happy being held. If you have never been there, I would highly recommend it! Everyone had SO much fun and we actually had to be kicked out at the end of the day!

Aiden's 2 Month Check Up

This past week Aiden turned 2 months old and had his check up and shots. He now weighs 11 lbs (almost 3 lbs. heavier than Emily was at this point) and measures 22.5 inches long (the same as Emily at 2 months). Needless to say, Mr. Aiden is growing and changing very quickly! He is really starting to look like a little man. Big sister, Emmy, is starting to interact with him a lot more, too, and it is very entertaining to watch. She has become interested in playing with his face and when he is fussy she will sometimes bring him one of his pacifiers. It is too cute! What a blessing they are! We love them both so much!

Silly Girl!!!!

Emily has always had an obsession with the dogs' kennel. She loves to pull up on it, talk to the dogs when they are inside it, and swing the door of it open and closed. Well today little Miss Emily found a new way to play with the kennel...
