I can't believe how fast Aiden seems to be growing up! This evening, after Emily went to bed, Daddy and I were talking to Aiden and he started smiling these huge smiles at us...and they were NOT from gas! Unlike Emily, Aiden has seemed to smile from the first time we laid eyes on him. He smiles and makes these giggle noises in his sleep that are so precious. However, tonight they were real. Aiden was interacting with us and it melted my heart! What a great way to end Valentine's Day! We love you, Monkey!
This morning I had an appointment to take Aiden in for his one month photos. I dressed him in his 'Going Home' outfit from the hospital and also planned on doing some naked shots (those looked horrible...they did not pose him well at all!). Since Emily has been really fussy lately, I did not plan on doing any pictures of her today. Well, during the photo shoot, Emily decided to crawl in and start posing! (It was a good thing she was in a cute outfit!) I was able to get some good pictures of both kids and Emily was able to get her 1 year pictures done, too! Here are some of my favorite pictures from this morning! 
Today I dressed the kids in coordinating shirts in hopes of getting a picture of them together. Emily had to be convinced that this was a good idea and that it really was ok for Aiden to be on her lap for a minute. Needless to say, I had to take the pictures quickly. Here are some of the better pictures from our shoot.
Emily has been taking a few steps here and there for about a month now, but this weekend her walking skills have improved by leaps and bounds!!! Here is the best video I have been able to take so far of my big girl! If I get a better one, I will be sure to post it!
