Aiden's Physical Therapy Visit

Today Jon and I took Aiden in to have his consult with the physical therapist. Things are looking better, in some respects, than they did before we got there. The good news is, the therapist does not think Aiden's torticollis is very bad. She said he definitely has a weak neck, tight muscles and poor body tone. With this being said, he also has full range of motion in his neck and can move it from side to side...he just prefers not to since it is painful for him to move it to the right. He will have to go to therapy once a week for the next 4 months and then they will re-evaluate him to see where to go from there. During this visit, it was also confirmed that Aiden needs to go to a pediatric opthamologist to have his vision thoroughly inspected. He is having trouble tracking objects and focusing on faces. We do know that he is not totally blind because his pupils react to light, but we are not sure how well he can see. His vision problems may be directly related to his torticollis. Aiden will see this specialist on May 19th and I am hoping that we will know something when we leave that appointment. Please continue to keep our little man in your prayers. Although none of this is life threatening, we would just like some answers as to what is going on and how we can best help him.
