Happy Thanksgiving!

Emily had a great first Turkey Day! We ate lunch over at Grandma and Grandpa Lloyd's house and then headed over to Memaw's house for dessert. Emily had a taste of rice krispie treats, mashed potatoes, and ham. Her favorite, by far, was the rice krispies...just like her mom! After a long day of visiting with family, we came home and Emily relaxed by watching Mickey's Thanks a Bunch Day. What a busy day! It should be no surprise that Emmy went to bed early!

We are so thankful to have her in our lives. She brings us such joy and happiness we can't imagine life without her. We are thankful to have a precious little boy on the way, too. (Aiden should be here before the end of December.) Our hearts are full as we think of all the blessings we have in our lives. On this day of thanks, we want you to know how much we love and appreciate you, our friends and family. We hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Love,
Kimberly and Jonathan

Party Dress

Emily has been waiting a long time for the perfect occasion to wear her fancy party dress that she received from Mrs. Cindy Heyse when she was born. This past weekend she finally had the perfect opportunity! We went to a luncheon hosted by my teacher friends celebrating Aiden's upcoming arrival. I think the wait was well worth it because she looked absolutely adorable!

Mmmmmmm!

Emily has started letting us know when she is enjoying her food by shrugging her shoulders up and down and saying "mmmm!". Sometimes she does this all on her own when she decides she just had a REALLY good bite, and other times she does it if we ask her if her food is good. Here are a couple video clips of her doing this today during her lunch. So adorable!

Happy Halloween!

Emily celebrated her first Halloween by dressing up as a bumble bee and trick or treating with Mason and Jackson...or should I say, Indiana Jones and 007! We had a blast! Emily did not nap all day long so I was afraid that I would have another 'hornet' but she surprised us all. She was all smiles and enjoyed strolling around the neighborhood watching the all kids run around in their costumes. We took her up to one house to trick or treat to make sure she got some candy...even if she couldn't eat it. :) Here are some pictures of Emily taken throughout the day...starting with playing with her first pumpkin and ending with relaxing in her Halloween PJ's.

Crawling up the stairs

On Thursday Emily figured out how to go up the stairs at Aunt Jennifer's house. Oh no! We're in trouble now! Here she is trying to get up the stairs to visit her buddy, Mason (as Mommy followed CLOSELY behind).
