Adorable Aiden

Aiden was so adorable in his overalls this morning that we had to take a quick photo shoot. He is always so cooperative when I try and pose him and his smiles come so easily. Watch out ladies, you are looking at a future heart breaker!

Wild Thang!

Emily is doing such a great job adjusting to Mother's Day Out. On Tuesday she got her very first "She had a GREAT day!" report and then today she walked right into her classroom without crying! I think she is finally enjoying her time with her teachers and friends and I couldn't be happier! Today, Emmy looked especially cute as she was wearing a zebra dress that matched her nap mat perfectly! She resembled a celebrity walking the red carpet as she carried her mat all the way to her classroom, smiling at ALL of her adoring fans that stopped to tell her how adorable she was. I could almost hear her say, "No autographs, please!" ;)

Playing with the dogs

First I would like to say, please note that Emily is still in her pajamas as we are having a lazy, clean the house kind of day. OK, now that we have gotten that out of the way...This morning Emily decided to take Toby and Lilly for rides around the house in her shopping cart. She was cracking up as they would try to escape then quickly start to whine when they finally did. Let's just say Aiden is very happy that he was napping during this adventure. ;)

Footy Pajamas

One of the things that melts my heart is seeing Mr. Aiden in footy pajamas. I know they are pretty much a 'standard' item of clothing at this age, but he makes them look so darn cute! Here is Aiden sporting some of his pj's for mommy. He is such a good sport!

Emily's first day of "school"

Today was Emily's first day of "school"...aka, Mother's Day Out. She is attending 2 days a week and I am so excited she has this opportunity. They do a full curriculum and she will be able to play with kids her own age...and hopefully learn how to talk from them! We had to get her a nap mat, a backpack and a lunch box since she is there all day. She was so excited about her new things! Over the weekend we laid her mat out on the floor and let her get use to it. She rolled all around on it. I forgot to take a picture of her mat, but it is a very cool zebra print with hot pink trim and a hot pink minky dots blanket attached to it. It even has her name embroidered on it. Next time it comes home I will have to take a picture of it. When we put the backpack on her this morning, she started saying "Yay!" as she clapped her hands with excitement, and that excitement only grew when she saw her lunchbox! Here are a few pictures of her this morning. She would not stand still or pose for me, so we have all action shots for your viewing pleasure. :)

Play Date at the Houston Children's Museum

On Friday we went with our good friends, the Bonin's, downtown to the Houston Children's Museum. Between our 2 families, there were 4 kids under the age of 3 so we definitely had our hands full! Luckily, there is so much to do for all ages that we were able to enjoy all the museum had to offer for several hours. Most of our time was spent in the Tot Spot, but we also ventured outside to the Water Works area and to Kid City where Emily and Jacey were able to run all 'around town' while Aiden and Emery took a nap. What a fun day we had! Here are a handful of pictures for you to enjoy that show the highlights of our day.

Send-sations and Lane Portraits

I know this blog is to keep you updated with all the wonderful things the kids are up to, but I would like to share some exciting news of my own! As many of you know, I have a custom card company, Send-sations, that specializes in creating holiday cards, birth announcements and invitations. If this is news to you, please check out my website at www.send-sations.com! Anyway, I have recently partnered up with Lane Portraits out of Fort Worth, TX. They are a husband and wife team that do beautiful photography and offer VERY competitive pricing. If you live in or around the Fort Worth area, or are willing to travel, you should check them out! You can view their work at www.LanePortraits.blogspot.com and if you are interested in booking a photo session with them, you can find that information at www.LanePortraits.com. We are having our family portraits done with them the first weekend in November and I can't wait!!! Below are just a few of the cards I have created for Lane Portraits. We make a great team and I am excited to see how both of our businesses grow with this new opportunity!

A Widdle Woyd Update

It has been a while since I have posted on the blog so I decided to play catch up today. We have been busy getting Emily ready to start Mother's Day Out and going to lots of play dates. Here are a few pictures of all the fun we have been having.
We went to dinner with CC at Fudruckers one night and Emily got to drive us home.
Aiden was standing all by himself at the McDonald's Play Place! YAY, Aiden!
Emily was so proud of herself for climbing all the way to the top level...by way of the slide behind her.
Look how high up she is! What a big girl!
Mommy and her favorite little boy.
Abi loves her cousin, Aidee (as she calls him)!
These gloves were found in Abi's diaper bag and Emily decided to wear them all day long!
Abi, Aiden and Emily playing together at CC's house.
I love this picture of Aiden. His face cracks me up!
(Side note - He is sharing a swing with Emily, not wearing a bow.)
Emily loves going to park and trying out all of the slides.
