When you have 2 toddlers, it is very important to find lots of different activities to fill your days during Spring Break! And fill we did! We started out Spring Break by attending the St. Patrick's Day Parade that CC was walking in with one of her volunteer groups. Emily enjoyed trying to catch flying necklaces and candy while Aiden was hot and just wanted to relax in his daddy's lap.

On Monday we went to a park with Aunt Jennifer, Jackson and Mason where we had a picnic lunch, explored a lake with lots of ducks, and played on a really fun playground! Everyone had such a great time enjoying the beautiful weather and great company!

Tuesday was rainy so we played at home with all of our toys. St. Patrick's Day was on Wednesday so I dressed Emily and Aiden in their green shirts and we headed to a play date with our play group friends.

Thursday we headed up to the Rodeo Carnival with CC, Aunt Kelli, Abigail and Kaitlyn. The kids went on a few rides, pet lots of animals in the petting zoo, and looked the winning animals in Champions Row. Emily was obsessed with the ducks and pigs while Aiden loved the lambs and goats. After a long day at the carnival, the kids spent the night with CC so Mommy and Daddy could go on a date!

Friday Jon and I celebrated our 5 year wedding anniversary. We tossed around many ideas on how to celebrate and finally decided on a family day at The Aquarium. After sleeping in a little bit, we drove to pick up Emily and Aiden and then headed downtown. The traffic was horrible but allowed for both kids to get a short nap in. At The Aquarium we saw lots of different fish, ate lunch, rode the train through the shark tunnel and went on the Ferris Wheel. We had a blast! This was the best way for us to celebrate our marriage and our family and I will always cherish the memories we made.
