Today we decided to do something totally out of the ordinary in honor of Father's Day. We loaded up the car and went to Stewart Beach in Galveston with Cappy and Aunt Kelli. I never imagined how difficult it would be to get Emily ready to just splash in the ocean! Between all of the diaper changes, sun screen applications, naps, sand...it was definitely an experience - but one we all enjoyed. Although Emily was not feeling very well (she has been a little under the weather and her right eye was bothering her a little), she loved being in the water for the first time. After we left the beach, we headed to a restaurant called The Spot to grab a late lunch. Emily was wiped out and slept through that part! Here are a few pictures from today.
** Note- Please disregard the white appearance of mommy's skin...it must have been a bad flash! lol (or something.......)

Too Cute! Her swimmer is adorable...she's getting so big so fast! I'll be in TX in September so I'll have to come by and see you!
