Today, for the first time, Emmy began to scream when I put her down. What happened when I picked her up? She stopped almost immediately! I don't want her to get use to being held all the time, so I did the hardest thing I have ever had to do...I put her in her Boppy Seat and let her cry herself to sleep. :( I felt so horrible sitting there watching her cry...especially since her little shirt said what she was trying to tell me herself, "Hug Me!" Luckily she did not cry for long and I felt better. Poor baby!

It is very difficult to just let your child cry. I know. I used to sit outside Katie's door when she had to cry herself to sleep. I was crying with her. It is a good thing to do though. So dont get down on yourself.
